Quang Tri approves investment in 338 billion VND educational complex project

On September 18, the People's Committee of Quang Tri province announced that it had approved the investment policy for the Education Complex project in Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province.

Accordingly, the project has the form of selecting investors according to the provisions of the law on bidding.

The project aims at general education (3 levels) and vocational education (primary, secondary and college training). The service products provided by the project are training services including general education and vocational education.

In terms of scale, the project has an expected land use area of ​​5.1 hectares. The designed capacity is to receive approximately more than 3,840 students and pupils each year. The number of employees is approximately more than 320 lecturers, teachers and staff.

Main items include lecture halls, multi-purpose service buildings - sports , security house, parking lot, technical station, playground, sports field, trees, landscape...

The Education Complex project in Dong Hoi ward will have a land use scale of 5.1 hectares.

The project has a total investment capital of 338 billion VND, with an operating period of 50 years. Regarding progress, the project will complete land allocation and land lease within 1 year from the date of the decision approving the project investment policy.

In phase 1, 1 lecture hall block will be built to serve inter-level general education, 1 lecture hall block to serve vocational education, a multi-purpose - service house, a parking lot, a vovinam house, a sports field, a technical house, auxiliary items, etc. Phase 1 is expected to be completed within 3 years from the date of the decision on land allocation and lease.

In phase 2, a lecture hall block will be built to serve inter-level general education, a multi-purpose hall, a square, landscapes and some auxiliary items and technical infrastructure. Phase 2 is expected to be completed within 3 years from the end of phase 1.

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee assigned the Department of Finance to advise the Provincial People's Committee to organize the selection of investors to implement the project in accordance with regulations.

It is known that the Education Complex project in Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province was proposed by FPT Education Company Limited in a document sent to the People's Committee of Quang Tri province on July 11, 2025, after receiving comments to complete the project proposal from relevant departments, branches and sectors.

Previously, as Baodautu.vn reported, in October 2024, FPT Education Company Limited (also known as FPT Education Organization) proposed that the People's Committee of Quang Binh province (old) consider approving the investment in the FPT Education Complex project in Dong Phu ward, Dong Hoi city.

According to this proposal, the project will have an investment scale of more than 5.1 hectares; construction density of 29%; of which the construction area is 14,800 m2, the total floor area is nearly 44,000 m2. The location proposed by FPT Education Organization to implement the project is the land plot with symbol THCL1 with an area of ​​51,012 m2 in Dong Phu ward, Dong Hoi city, Quang Binh province (now Dong Hoi ward, Quang Tri province).

The investor proposed the project to be implemented over 6 years, divided into 2 phases. Phase 1 from 2026-2027, Phase 2 from 2028-2030.
