Quang Tri promotes the strength of national solidarity and development aspirations

After 2 days of urgent, scientific and serious work in the spirit of "Solidarity - Democracy - Discipline - Breakthrough - Development", on the afternoon of October 5, the 1st Congress of Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, term 2025-2030, successfully concluded.

The Congress discussed enthusiastically, frankly, democratically and unanimously approved very important documents of strategic significance for the province's development: Political Report of the Provincial Party Congress; Report reviewing the leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2020-2025 term; Report synthesizing comments on draft documents submitted to the 14th National Party Congress; discussed and commented on the draft Action Program to implement the Resolution of the Provincial Party Congress.

Some typical presentations at the Congress include: Firmly consolidating the great national unity bloc, enhancing the close relationship between Party committees, authorities with the people and social consensus, promoting the core role of the Front in gathering and building the great national unity bloc; Building a strong national defense posture, defense zones, firmly protecting national sovereignty , borders, and islands of the Fatherland...

The Congress announced the Politburo 's Decisions on appointing the Provincial Party Executive Committee, the Provincial Party Standing Committee, the Secretary and Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term. The Quang Tri Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025 - 2030 term consists of 62 comrades, 17 comrades participating in the Provincial Party Standing Committee; appointing the position of Provincial Party Secretary for the 2025 - 2030 term to comrade Le Ngoc Quang, member of the Party Central Committee, Provincial Party Secretary; 4 Deputy Secretaries of the Provincial Party Committee.

The Congress also announced the Politburo's Decision to appoint 34 official delegates and 2 alternate delegates from the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee to attend the 14th National Congress of the Party; announced the decision to appoint members, Chairman and Vice Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term, including 14 comrades. Comrade Ho Thi Thu Hang, member of the Standing Committee, Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2020-2025 term, holds the position of Chairman of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee's Inspection Committee for the 2025-2030 term, along with 3 Vice Chairmen.

At the Congress, delegates passed the Resolution, affirming the achievements in the past term; at the same time, frankly and seriously pointed out the shortcomings, limitations and causes in the leadership and direction of the Party Committee. The Congress expressed strong political determination in the next 5 years: "Building a clean and strong Party Committee and political system; promoting the strength of great national unity and development aspirations; mobilizing and effectively using all resources; promoting innovation and digital transformation; striving to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the Central region". To achieve the above goal, the Congress set out 5 key tasks and 3 breakthroughs for development.

In his closing speech at the Congress, Comrade Le Ngoc Quang, Secretary of the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee, emphasized that the success of the 1st Quang Tri Provincial Party Congress, term 2025 - 2030, has created great encouragement for the entire Party Committee, army and people in the province to overcome all difficulties and challenges, seize new opportunities, and strive to become a new growth pole in the Central region. Immediately after the Congress, all Party organizations need to organize well the study and thorough understanding of the Resolution and documents of the Congress, widely propagate the results of the Congress to all classes of people; promptly develop and deploy programs and action plans, bring the Resolution of the Congress into life, and arouse a widespread patriotic emulation movement of the entire Party Committee and people. The Congress called on each cadre and party member in the entire Party to promote a high sense of responsibility, practice moral qualities and lifestyle, focus on intelligence and leadership capacity, give practical direction, combine words with actions, strengthen solidarity, mobilize people to continue to promote the traditions of the heroic homeland of Quang Tri; uphold the will of self-reliance, dynamism, creativity, unity of effort and heart, strive to make Quang Tri a new growth pole in the Central region, contributing to the successful implementation of the goal of a rich people, a strong country, democracy, fairness and civilization.
