According to the report, 64.5 million tourists are expected to flock to NYC by the end of 2024 — just a few million shy of 2019's record of 66.6 million, and most will make at least one trip through Times Square.

However, a recent survey found that most tourists hate the place after visiting.

The square is illuminated all night by thousands of signs, attracting tens of millions of visitors every year.

Times Square, often referred to as the most visited destination on the planet with 50 million people each year.

Reviewers complained about crowds and called the LED-lit area dirty and boring. The area has also seen a worrying spate of street crime in recent years.
