On September 25, the first National Assembly Party Congress for the 2025-2030 term will officially open. Through the Resolution amending and supplementing a number of articles of the 2013 Constitution; Through the Resolution on merging provincial-level administrative units, reducing from 63 to 34 provinces and cities; Through the Law on Organization of Local Government (amended), creating a solid legal foundation for the two-level local government model organized for the first time in our country, under the leadership of the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly issued historic decisions, promptly institutionalizing the Party's policies, serving the cause of national construction and development, bringing happiness to the people.

"The role of the National Assembly Party Committee is extremely important, leading the National Assembly to innovate, expressing the Party's will and the people's heart, and at the same time demonstrating a National Assembly that embodies the great national unity bloc, a place where the nation's aspirations to rise up in the new era converge," affirmed Mr. Hoang Dang Quang (Permanent Deputy Head of the Central Organizing Committee).

During the 2020-2025 term, the National Assembly Party Committee has left its mark, including innovation and creativity; close ties between the National Assembly and the people, the Government, and agencies in the political system.

Under the leadership of the National Assembly Party Committee, the National Assembly has fundamentally innovated its thinking on law-making, advised the Central Government to issue many important, strategic, and fundamental policies; strongly innovated so that law-making is the "breakthrough of breakthroughs"; institutions and laws are gradually becoming competitive advantages, in the spirit of taking people and businesses as the center, removing all bottlenecks and barriers, mobilizing and unblocking resources.

The National Assembly has also strongly innovated the work of supervising and deciding on important national issues in the spirit of early and remote preparation, accompanying and closely coordinating with the Government, ministries and branches for the national and ethnic interests, for the people.

"The National Assembly has fully, flexibly and effectively decided on important issues on economy, society, national defense, security and foreign affairs; ensured comprehensiveness and close connection between requirements, tasks and resources; implemented many breakthrough and unprecedented decisions, affirming the viewpoint of taking people as the center, all policies and decisions are for the people," emphasized National Assembly Chairman Tran Thanh Man (Secretary of the National Assembly Party Committee).

The achievements gained from the implementation of the Resolutions set out during the term will be valuable experiences and a solid foundation for the Party Committee of the National Assembly to continue affirming its pioneering position in institutional creation, contributing to realizing development goals.

The past 5 years have marked the great contributions of the National Assembly Party Committee to the cause of national renewal. Although the tasks ahead are still very heavy, with valuable lessons, the National Assembly Party Committee will continue to lead the National Assembly to better fulfill the assigned responsibilities, bringing the country firmly into an era of prosperous, prosperous, civilized and happy development.
