The National Assembly will discuss the vote of confidence, vote of no confidence

(HNM) - In the second working week of the fifth session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly will discuss supervision work, the implementation of the 2023 socio -economic development plan and a number of important draft laws.

According to the session agenda, the National Assembly will spend 1 day discussing in the hall the results of the National Assembly's supervision in mobilizing, managing and using resources for Covid-19 prevention and control; the implementation of policies and laws on grassroots health care and preventive medicine. The National Assembly will also spend 1.5 days discussing in the hall the additional assessment of the results of the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in 2022; the implementation of the socio-economic development plan and the state budget in the first months of 2023.

In addition, the National Assembly will discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on People's Public Security; discuss in the hall the draft Law amending and supplementing a number of articles of the Law on Exit and Entry of Vietnamese Citizens and the Law on Entry, Exit, Transit and Residence of Foreigners in Vietnam; decide on the investment policy for the road project from National Highway 27C to Provincial Road DT.656 in Khanh Hoa province - connecting with Lam Dong and Ninh Thuan; adjust the investment policy for the Ka Pet reservoir project, Ham Thuan Nam district, Binh Thuan province; discuss in the hall a number of contents with different opinions in the draft Law on Electronic Transactions (amended).

The National Assembly discussed in the hall the policy of investing in additional charter capital for the Vietnam Bank for Agriculture and Rural Development; approving the 2021 state budget settlement; the work of practicing thrift and fighting waste in 2022; continuing to implement the policy of reducing value-added tax by 2% according to Resolution No. 43/2022/QH15 dated January 11, 2022; assigning the list and capital levels for tasks and projects under the Socio-Economic Recovery and Development Program; assigning, adjusting and supplementing the medium-term public investment plan of the central budget for the 2021-2025 period and allocating the 2023 central budget investment plan of the national target program.

During the week, the National Assembly will discuss in groups the draft Resolution on taking a vote of confidence, a vote of no confidence for people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Council (amended); the draft Resolution of the National Assembly on piloting a number of specific mechanisms and policies for the development of Ho Chi Minh City. The National Assembly will also vote to pass the Resolution on the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2024, adjusting the Law and Ordinance Development Program for 2023; listen to the presentation and examination report on the draft Law on Telecommunications (amended) and the draft Law on Citizen Identification (amended).
