According to the program, on the morning of November 20, at the National Assembly House, under the chairmanship of National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the results of supervising the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
In the afternoon, the National Assembly discussed in the hall the draft resolution on applying additional corporate income tax according to regulations against global tax base erosion. Minister of Finance Ho Duc Phoc explained and clarified a number of issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
Then, Minister Ho Duc Phoc, authorized by the Prime Minister , presented the Report on reducing value-added tax. Chairman of the National Assembly's Finance and Budget Committee Le Quang Manh presented the Report on examining the reduction of value-added tax.
Delegates continued to discuss in the hall about reducing value added tax. The Minister of Finance will explain and clarify a number of issues raised by National Assembly delegates.
The National Assembly spent the whole day of November 21 discussing the work reports of the Chief Justice of the Supreme People's Court and the Chief Prosecutor of the Supreme People's Procuracy; crime prevention and control; enforcement of judgments; and corruption prevention and control in 2023.
Also during the working week, the National Assembly discussed the results of receiving citizens, handling petitions and resolving citizens' complaints and denunciations in 2023; discussed the results of supervising the settlement of voters' petitions sent to the 5th Session of the 15th National Assembly.
Regarding legislative work, the National Assembly focused on discussing a number of draft laws and resolutions: Law on Social Insurance (amended); Law on Credit Institutions (amended); Road Law; Law on Organization of People's Courts (amended); Law on Road Traffic Order and Safety;
The National Assembly will vote to pass: Law on Management and Protection of National Defense Works and Military Zones; Law on Telecommunications (amended); Law on Water Resources (amended).
The 6th session of the 15th National Assembly is scheduled to close on November 29. Delegates will vote to pass the Resolution on questions and answers and the Resolution of the 6th session of the 15th National Assembly. Afterwards, National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue will deliver a closing speech.
The closing session will be broadcast live on VTV1, Vietnam Television for voters and people to watch .
