The National Assembly passed a resolution confirming the results of the vote of confidence.

Continuing the Program of the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly , on the afternoon of October 25, National Assembly deputies voted to pass the Resolution confirming the results of the vote of confidence for those holding positions elected and approved by the National Assembly, with 470/472 votes in favor (equivalent to 95.14% of the total number of National Assembly deputies).

National Assembly Chairman Vuong Dinh Hue emphasized that after more than one day of work, in an atmosphere of democracy, solidarity and high responsibility, the National Assembly completed the vote of confidence for the person holding the position elected and approved by the National Assembly.

The vote of confidence was conducted in a strict, democratic, objective, public, transparent and serious manner in accordance with the content, process and procedures prescribed in Resolution No. 96/2023/QH15 on taking a vote of confidence and voting for confidence in people holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly or People's Council.

"This is the result of a process of urgent, careful, serious and highly responsible preparation by the National Assembly Standing Committee, relevant agencies and organizations and those who were voted on. The National Assembly unanimously passed a Resolution confirming the results of the vote of confidence for those holding positions elected or approved by the National Assembly at the 6th Session of the 15th National Assembly. The work under the program of taking a vote of confidence at the session has been completed," the National Assembly Chairman said.

Earlier, in the afternoon of the same day, the Ballot Counting Committee reported the vote counting results.
