Thien Tam Fund supports 1,100 Tet gifts to disadvantaged families in Hau Giang

(HGO ) – On January 26, the Provincial Red Cross Society coordinated with Thien Tam Fund and Nga Bay City People's Committee to implement the 2024 Tet Gift Giving Program for households in difficult circumstances.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Nghe, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society, received a symbolic plaque of 1,100 from the sponsor - Ms. Phung Thi My Le, representative of Thien Tam Fund .

Responding to the "Humanitarian Tet" movement launched by the Central Committee of the Vietnam Red Cross Society , with the desire to accompany and help everyone, every poor family, and the disadvantaged in Hau Giang province to enjoy spring and celebrate Tet in a warm and affectionate atmosphere, the Hau Giang Red Cross Society mobilized the Thien Tam Fund to support and give 1,100 gifts to people in the province. Each gift is worth 600,000 VND, including cakes and 500,000 VND in cash, with a total value of 660 million VND.

Mr. Nguyen Chi Nghe, Chairman of the Provincial Red Cross Society and Ms. Phung Thi My Le, representative of Thien Tam Fund, presented gifts to households.

In Nga Bay city, the Provincial Red Cross Society presented 300 gifts from Thien Tam Fund and 300 water filtration devices sponsored by SIPCO Investment Promotion and Sustainable Development Joint Stock Company to households in the area.

On this occasion, the Provincial People's Committee awarded certificates of merit to 1 individual and 1 collective with many achievements contributing to the province's movement.

* On the same day, the Red Cross delegation will continue to give gifts to people in difficult circumstances in Long My district (250 gifts), Chau Thanh district (300 gifts), and Chau Thanh A district (250 gifts).
