Strengthening the control and treatment of environmental pollution in some river basins

Accordingly, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vu Viet Van directed: Assign the Department of Construction, the Department of Agriculture and Environment, and the People's Committees of districts and cities in the province, according to their functions, tasks, and scope of management, to organize the review of wastewater collection and treatment infrastructure in all urban areas from type V and above, propose plans and solutions to promote investment projects to build centralized wastewater collection systems and treatment plants. Review unit prices, norms, and propose financial mechanisms for wastewater collection and treatment services to attract businesses to invest in and operate wastewater collection and treatment systems. Review plans and propose solutions to promote the priority roadmap for implementing investment projects to build centralized wastewater collection systems and treatment plants in urban areas and concentrated residential areas that discharge wastewater into river basins in the periods of 2022 - 2025 and 2026 - 2030.

The Department of Construction shall preside over and coordinate with relevant agencies to report on the results of the implementation of the tasks assigned in Directive No. 02 of the Government and the above tasks; send the results to the Ministry of Agriculture and Environment and the Ministry of Construction before May 30, 2025 upon request.
