“Localities that have completed the goal of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses should organize a summary and announcement so that people and society can see the determination of the entire political system, the care and attention of the Party, the State, and society for the work of eliminating temporary and dilapidated houses in the area, and continue to research and propose projects or support programs in the next phase. The remaining localities should take advantage of favorable weather conditions to organize the groundbreaking ceremony, immediately disburse the allocated funds, and complete the project on schedule as committed,” the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested.
At the same time, continue to review the needs, both to ensure that policy exploitation is avoided and to avoid missing out on subjects. If additional requests arise, the locality will proactively mobilize resources to support in accordance with the direction of the Prime Minister , the Provincial Party Committee, and the Provincial People's Committee, ensuring that no one is homeless or lives in a dilapidated house. Localities must strictly implement the settlement and settlement of accounts in accordance with regulations before the end of the district-level tasks; absolutely do not allow negativity to occur, and strictly handle violations (if any). Accordingly, the Department of Finance will take the lead in coordinating with localities to immediately deploy funding to support housing for people with revolutionary contributions and relatives of martyrs; ensuring that it does not exceed the number of houses and approved funding.
For the Department of Agriculture and Environment, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directs the unit to preside over and coordinate with relevant units to urge and inspect the implementation of the Program to eliminate temporary and dilapidated houses in the province, ensuring the completion of the set goals. At the same time, coordinate with the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and relevant units to review, compile statistics, and update the status of construction commencement, completion progress, and disbursement of localities, ensuring accurate, substantive, and synchronous data between the data of the province, district, and commune; accelerate the application of digital technology in synthesizing and monitoring the situation such as: Zalo, RapoWord..., report to the Standing Committee of the Steering Committee, and publicize on the Provincial Information Portal; strictly implement the periodic reporting regime according to regulations.
In addition, press and media agencies increase the time to develop formats, topics, columns, articles, and programs to motivate, inspire, and strongly spread the movement, create a vibrant competitive atmosphere, consensus in society, and join hands to support, share, and assist the program.
Box: According to statistics from the Department of Agriculture and Environment, up to now, the province has started construction of 4,239/4,400 houses; of which, 3,388 houses were newly built; 851 houses were repaired, reaching 96.34%. Accordingly, 3,879 houses have been completed, reaching 91.51%. The total allocated budget is over 252 billion VND, the disbursement result is 213 billion VND, reaching 84.45%. Households receiving funding for housing construction have contributed an additional 55 billion VND. Volunteers have contributed over 8,317 working days, estimated to be converted into about 2.2 billion VND.
