At the first Congress of the Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee (Dien Bien Province) (term 2025-2030) held on August 4, 100% of delegates attending the congress agreed with the goal throughout the term of building Dien Bien Phu Ward into a model.

Speaking at the Dien Bien Phu Ward Congress, comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, commended the results achieved by the ward Party Committee.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong pointed out: Established on the basis of merging administrative units at the commune and ward levels (belonging to the old Dien Bien Phu city), Dien Bien Phu ward has more advantages than other communes and wards. However, the responsibility of Dien Bien Phu ward is also completely different from that of 44 other communes and wards, because Dien Bien Phu ward is the center of the province, and has been and is being planned for centers, services, housing, and urban areas.

In the ward, there are also special relic sites in the Dien Bien Phu Battlefield national relic complex... Therefore, the task assigned to the Party Committee and the government of Dien Bien Phu ward is of special importance in the common task of the province and other localities.

Comrade Tran Quoc Cuong, member of the Party Central Committee, Secretary of Dien Bien Provincial Party Committee, gave a speech at the Congress of Delegates of Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee.

With the unique position and advantages of the ward, comrade Tran Quoc Cuong suggested that the Party Committee of Dien Bien Phu ward for the 2025-2030 term must inherit the achievements and propose practical and appropriate leadership solutions to successfully build Dien Bien Phu ward as a model ward, a green - civilized - modern urban area.

At the congress, 245 delegates representing more than 5,100 party members of the entire ward voted unanimously to implement 6 key tasks, 5 breakthroughs and key solutions in various fields. Notably, striving to call for investment, putting into operation at least 5 urban areas or more; at least 1 walking street combining culture and cuisine; improving the effectiveness and efficiency of management, building an open and transparent investment environment, strongly attracting the private economic sector; developing tourism into a spearhead economic sector; promoting the application of comprehensive digital transformation in all fields...

The Congress announced the Decision of the Provincial Party Standing Committee appointing a delegation of 9 comrades from the Dien Bien Phu Ward Party Committee to attend the 15th Dien Bien Provincial Party Congress, term 2025-2030.
