The inevitable transformation of Vietnamese retail
On October 27, One Mount Group - a pioneering digital ecosystem in Vietnam - officially launched the OneShop brand, a comprehensive digital commerce platform for Vietnamese small traders.
Vietnam currently has more than 5.2 million individual business households, contributing about 30% of GDP and creating jobs for tens of millions of people. This is the "backbone" of the consumer economy but also faces many new challenges.
Mandatory requirements for electronic invoices, transparency in goods sources and the policy of eliminating lump-sum tax from January 1, 2026... pose a problem for Vietnamese small traders to transform and adapt.

Mr. Vu Duc Tuan - Technology Director of One Mount Distribution spoke
Speaking at the Oneshop launch ceremony, Mr. Le Huynh Minh Tu - Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade of Ho Chi Minh City affirmed that digital transformation is no longer a choice, but a requirement for survival.
He added: "According to the orientation of Resolution 57-NQ/TW and the National Digital Transformation Program, Ho Chi Minh City aims for the digital economy to account for 40% of GRDP by 2030, in which retail will be the leading industry."
Deputy Director of the Department of Industry and Trade Le Huynh Minh Tu emphasized that models like OneShop are not simply technological products but also "demonstrate the companionship between businesses and the State in the transformation journey".
Previously, One Mount Distribution - a member of One Mount Group - initiated the retail digitalization journey early in 2020 with VinShop - a platform to help small traders "sell more easily, more effectively and live better in the digital age".

One Mount Distribution has served more than 120,000 stores, connected 500 brands and suppliers, and supplied 10,000 genuine products nationwide.
After 5 years, One Mount Distribution has served more than 120,000 stores, connected 500 brands and suppliers, and supplied 10,000 genuine products nationwide.
Entering 2025, that journey is inherited and elevated by OneShop - a brand with the mission of "Accompanying Vietnamese small traders to get rich", leaving no one behind in the digital transformation process.
OneShop – smart "digital assistant" for Vietnamese small traders
More than just a sales tool, OneShop is considered a "smart business assistant" for Vietnamese small traders. The platform helps sellers create electronic invoices, manage revenue, inventory, cash flow, and access preferential short-term loan packages from Techcombank for flexible capital turnover.
OneShop is developed on the "digital-first" principle, combining AI and Big Data analysis to forecast demand, suggest suitable imports, optimize operations and increase business efficiency. Thanks to that, retailers can import goods intelligently, sell faster, manage more tightly and save costs.

Along with technology, genuine goods sources and modern logistics systems are also the pillars of OneShop's development.
Currently, the platform distributes more than 10,000 fast-moving consumer goods products from major brands such as Wilmar, SABECO , Indomie, Liby, C&S..., along with more than 500 domestic and foreign suppliers, ensuring a stable source of goods, good prices and transparency.
With a warehouse system of more than 25,000 m², and a satellite network of 10,000 m², Oneshop transports 1,000 tons of goods nationwide every day, achieving a 96% on-time delivery rate. The application of a logistics management system (WMS - TMS) and cashless payments helps OneShop reduce operating costs to less than 2%, increase warehouse productivity by 4 times and ensure absolute financial security.
OneShop is a bridge between Techcombank, logistics, finance and production partners in the One Mount ecosystem, creating a unified value chain from production to consumption.
OneShop is currently working with 120,000 grocery stores nationwide. In the next 5 years, the platform aims to connect all 5.2 million Vietnamese small traders into an open ecosystem, where every store - whether on the big streets or small alleys - has the opportunity to get rich with technology.
"OneShop will continue to expand its scale, diversify its product lines, deeply apply data and artificial intelligence to optimize operations, personalize business experiences, and contribute to shaping the future of Vietnam's retail industry," said Mr. Le Thiet Bao, CEO of One Mount Distribution.
Deputy Director of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Industry and Trade Le Huynh Minh Tu assessed that the birth of OneShop contributes to realizing the goals of the state in general and Ho Chi Minh City in particular, which is "building a transparent, modern and sustainable retail industry, while spreading the value of digital transformation to all components of the economic ecosystem".
