Book launch "Truth, Right and Pen"

On the occasion of the anniversary (June 21, 1925 - June 21, 2025), on the morning of June 12, the Military Library coordinated with Hanoi Publishing House to organize the launching ceremony of the book "Truth, Righteousness and Pen" by journalist and writer Ho Quang Loi.

The book "Truth, Reason and the Pen" includes 66 articles and interviews, organized into 8 chapters. Chapter 1: Pulse of the times; Chapter 2: Pen-holding attitude; Chapter 3: Light of humanity; Chapter 4: Journalism ethics; Chapter 5: Stronger than the sword; Chapter 6: Winning together; Chapter 7: Social networks, AI and journalism; Chapter 8: Heart and Fire.

"Truth, Reason and Pen" is the 11th book published by journalist and writer Ho Quang Loi.

Besides the part about the hot current issues in the world such as: the current wave and the fierce competition for power between the superpowers; the current issues of our country today, the book "Truth, Right and the Pen" is devoted to writing about some core issues of journalism that have been contemplated in the author's 45 years of writing and journalism activities.

Speaking at the launching ceremony, he shared stories of his life and career associated with his years of writing during the country's historical moments. He also entrusted and believed that the generation of journalists today will continue to live and write worthy of the spirit.

Journalist and writer Ho Quang Loi is currently Chairman of the Vietnam-Romania Friendship Association and Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Digital Communications Association.

He was born in 1956 in Quynh Doi, Quynh Luu, Nghe An; graduated from Bucharest University (Romania). He held many positions such as: Colonel, former Deputy Editor-in-Chief of the People's Army Newspaper; former Editor-in-Chief of the Hanoi Moi Newspaper, former Chairman of the Hanoi Journalists Association; former member of the Standing Committee of the City Party Committee, former Head of the Propaganda Department of the Hanoi Party Committee; former Permanent Vice Chairman of the Vietnam Journalists Association; former Deputy Secretary of the Party Committee of the Vietnam Journalists Association; former Secretary General of the ASEAN Journalists Confederation.

He has won 9 National and National Press Awards (including 5 A Awards); 2 Literature, Art, and Journalism Awards on Revolutionary War and People's Armed Forces; 2 First Prizes of Ngo Tat To Press Awards...
