(HG) - According to the Provincial Tax Department, to ensure strict and effective tax and invoice management, on February 29, 2024, the General Department of Taxation (Department of Small and Individual Enterprises) sent an email to provide a detailed list of business establishments with industries subject to the implementation of electronic invoices (E-invoices) generated from cash registers (Cash Registers) in 2024, requesting local tax departments to proactively review and implement this content.
On March 12, 2024, the General Department of Taxation (Department of Small and Individual Enterprises) continued to send emails providing a list of additional industries and updating new data for local tax departments to continue reviewing and implementing tax management and invoice management for subjects using electronic invoices generated from MTT. Thereby, it can be affirmed that the expansion of electronic invoices generated from MTT is an inevitable trend that must be implemented according to the roadmap. Therefore, strengthening strict management of business establishments subject to the implementation of electronic invoices generated from MTT, in the coming time, there will be strong enough measures and solutions for tax authorities to resolutely review and handle violations against subjects that do not implement in order to ensure transparency in buying and selling transactions and protect consumer rights.
The provincial tax department is promoting the benefits of using electronic invoices generated from cash registers to sellers and buyers in meeting the requirement of issuing invoices regularly, continuously, 24/7, creating favorable conditions for buyers to conveniently receive electronic invoices to participate in the lucky invoice program. In the near future, the Hau Giang Provincial Tax Department will continue to issue documents closely directing the inspection, supervision, tax management, and invoice management of subjects implementing the use of electronic invoices generated from MTT for specialized departments to implement.
