Back to the story 10 years ago, at that time you said, Vietnam still had to import 92% of milk powder from abroad, mainly from China, but now it is known that TH is having a strategy to export milk to China and has started building an industrial-scale dairy farm in Ha Giang to serve this market. Up to now, has TH been able to export milk to China, madam?
-From the beginning, when building the strategy for developing dairy products, I identified and aimed at the Chinese market, because this is a large market of 1.3 billion people. After many years of efforts and striving to set standards, coordinate with ministries and departments to negotiate and complete procedures, up to now TH products have entered supermarkets in Guangzhou and Guangdong. In the near future, TH milk and dairy products will be introduced to markets across China. TH's dairy products are being very well received by the Chinese people.
In fact, China is very strict and tightly controls food safety issues. We need to change our mindset and awareness when approaching this market. Instead of focusing on exporting informally, we must have good quality products to switch to officially exporting our products to China.
I affirm that if we Vietnamese make good quality products, they will be accepted by your country very quickly, but poor quality products will have a hard time and may not have a chance to enter the most populous market in the world .
Not only milk, recently TH has also launched many organic agricultural products, can you share more about this strategy?
-Now, my concept is this: Whatever my body needs, I will make it, from milk, then clean vegetables, fish sauce, oil, peanuts, rice, herbal drinks... to turn Vietnam into a true kitchen of the world.
I am currently preparing to create a second miracle to recalibrate consumption habits not only in Vietnam, but also around the world. That is to help consumers give up the habit of drinking sweet drinks through sugar (refined, chemical, ...). I will follow and make a revolution without using sugar, following the organic, clean trend by using sweet fruits to create products that are nutritious, delicious, and have a natural sweetness. Combining a group of nutritious nuts such as Macadamia, walnuts, almonds, herbal rice, along with TH fresh milk and sweet fruits, we have researched and developed a completely new product that has never been produced in Vietnam.
On March 17, we launched this new product, called TH true NUT milk. In addition, TH will also introduce a new naturally fermented drink from barley sprouts called TH true Malt, which is a carbonated but non-alcoholic drink that is easy to drink and good for your health.
Back to the topic of women and family, can you share a little about family life?
- I always feel that I can only function well when I have a strong support system. In my opinion, no matter what position or status, the first thing a woman needs to do is to fulfill her family's work, to fulfill her mission as a mother and wife first, and then her work. Only by fulfilling her family's work well can everyone fulfill their social work. My husband is just an ordinary civil servant. I have 3 sons and now I also have 3 grandchildren. My children are now grown up and are imbued with the ideology and path that their mother has taken and is taking. My family is always very happy and close-knit.
Especially, my children also love my work and they are continuing that work. I am sure that my children will have a superior mindset and intelligence than me when doing this job, because as the old saying goes, "A son is better than his father, the family is blessed".
As a Vietnamese woman, I am also the President of the Association of Women Entrepreneurs and a member of the Executive Committee of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Women's Union. I wish all Vietnamese women to be forever beautiful, the beauty I mean here is the beauty of health, beauty of personality and beauty of soul. So that the beauty of women in the family will help make society more beautiful.
