Since last night, the festival activities have been taking place right at the foot of the tower. Cham people from Play Cham as far away as Tuy Phong, Tanh Linh, Bac Binh, Ham Tan, Ham Thuan Nam and Ham Thuan Bac districts have gathered in large numbers.
This morning, early in the morning, many handsome young men and beautiful women from Cham villages from Tanh Linh, Ma Lam, and Phu Lac packed their bags and returned to the ancient tower to prepare to watch the official ceremony of carrying the goddess's clothes up to the tower.

In his opening speech, Head of the festival organizing committee Nguyen Ngoc Hanh - Deputy Director of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Binh Thuan province said that this year's festival has received the largest investment from the province. Instead of previous years, only the Cham people in Cham villages in Ham Thuan Bac district were present, this year all Cham villages in the province participated in this traditional festival.
According to the monk Thong Minh Toan - Vice President of the Council of Cham Brahmin Clergy, the Ka Te festival is a traditional festival of the Cham people who follow Brahmanism. However, the festival held at the foot of the Po Sah Inu tower was only restored in 2005, after half a century of being forgotten.
The Ka Te Festival under the Po Sah Inu Tower is an opportunity to promote the Cham folk culture, a community of more than 30,000 people living in the districts of Binh Thuan. Through performances, cuisine , fan dances, saranai trumpets, Paranung drums, etc., this is an opportunity for visitors to Mui Ne to understand the unique culture of the Cham people in general and the festival next to the thousand-year-old Champa tower in particular.
The fan dance plays a major role in the ritual of carrying the PosahInư god's costume up to the tower.
The Paranung drum and Saranai trumpet are the main music of the Ka Te festival.
The entire main tower is being funded for restoration by the People's Committee of Binh Thuan province.
Currently, Binh Thuan has disbursed nearly 30 billion VND to maintain and restore the ancient Po Sah Inu tower and build other construction works to serve tourism development.
Po Sah Inu Tower was built in the late 8th century, early 9th century (on Ba Nai hill, Phu Hai commune, Phan Thiet city, where Ong Hoang tower used to be) to worship Po Sah Inu god, the princess of King Cham Para Chanh.
