Transfer expert Santi Aouna also confirmed that the Portuguese superstar has reached an agreement to extend his contract with the Saudi team. Foot Mercato said that despite previous rumors about Ronaldo's possible departure, the 40-year-old striker decided to continue his association with the club.
Sporting Director Fernando Hierro said: "Cristiano is currently resting for a few days. His contract is still valid until June 30. We are working so that all parties can reach an agreement. We will certainly try to keep Ronaldo. The strong support from the entire country will also be a great motivation for him."
