Saigontourist Group and Russian Federation partners signed a memorandum of understanding on cooperation and development.

The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Finance of Vietnam and the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation, with the participation of General Secretary To Lam and the working delegation, leaders of ministries, sectors and representatives of businesses of the two countries in the fields of tourism, minerals, oil and gas, textiles, renewable energy, circular economy, green development and digital transformation.

At this forum, the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and Russian partner Amparus Tour was signed by the three parties on May 9, 2025; the Memorandum of Understanding on cooperation between Saigontourist Group, Vietnam Airlines and the Russian Union of Exhibitions and Fairs - RUEF was signed and handed over on May 11, 2025.

These Memoranda of Understanding focus on developing and promoting air transport, sea transport, tourism, travel, service technology and MICE services to meet the needs of Vietnamese and Russian customers. The parties also agreed to cooperate in promoting tourism in both countries, building the brand image of Saigontourist Group and its partners in both markets; jointly developing and exploiting attractive tourism products; providing special promotional packages for Vietnamese and Russian tourists; and organizing survey programs (Famtrip) in Vietnam and the Russian Federation for tourism organizations, media units and important delegations.

On May 11, 2025, the Saigontourist Group delegation had a meeting and discussed specific cooperation content with Amparus Tour. At the same time, they participated in surveying the wharf system, sea and river ships of Mosturflot Group.

The Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025 and the Announcement Ceremony of the Hanoi - Moscow direct flight on May 9, 2025 in Moscow, the Russian Federation, organized by Saigontourist Group in coordination with Vietnam Airlines on the occasion of the state visit to the Russian Federation by General Secretary To Lam and his wife and the high-ranking delegation of Vietnam. Chairman of Saigontourist Group Pham Huy Binh expressed his hope that with these strong promotional efforts, Saigontourist Group will create new breakthroughs in attracting tourists from the traditional and potential market of the Russian Federation, while strengthening the friendly and cooperative relationship between Vietnam and the Russian Federation.

The Vietnam Tourism Promotion Program in the Russian Federation 2025 is one of the important activities of Saigontourist Group, following many international events successfully implemented in recent years, with the aim of promoting the image of Vietnam tourism to international friends, contributing to the development of tourism in Ho Chi Minh City and Vietnam.
