Samsung Launches World's First 500Hz Gaming Monitor

With the code name G60SF, Odyssey OLED G6 is a 27-inch gaming monitor with QD-OLED technology for sharp resolution of 2,560 x 1,440 pixels (QHD) and extremely fast response time of only 0.03 ms.

The launch of the Odyssey OLED G6 gaming monitor comes as Samsung recorded its highest-ever quarterly revenue in the first quarter of the year, thanks to strong sales of its Galaxy S25 smartphone line and other premium products.

In addition to its impressive speed, the Odyssey OLED G6 is packed with useful features to enhance the user experience. The display has an anti-glare coating to reduce reflections, and built-in burn-in protection features ensure the durability of the OLED panel during long gaming sessions with static images. The display is also VESA DisplayHDR True Black 500 certified and Pantone-verified for color accuracy.

The Odyssey OLED G6 is compatible with both NVIDIA G-SYNC and AMD FreeSync Premium Pro, which delivers a smooth, tear-free gaming experience.

The Odyssey OLED G6 will be released globally by Samsung, starting with select markets such as Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Malaysia, before the company plans to expand to other regions later this year.
