A professional playground for the young generation of tennis players

VHO - On the evening of June 22, at Tien Son Sports Palace (Da Nang City), the 2025 National Youth Badminton Championship - Donex Competition officially opened, opening a week of exciting competition, taking place from June 22 to 29.

The tournament is considered a useful playground for children.

The tournament is organized by DONEXGroup Joint Stock Company in collaboration with the Vietnam Sports and Physical Training Department, the Vietnam Badminton Federation and the Department of Culture and Sports of Da Nang City. This is an annual tournament within the official national badminton competition system, aiming to create a playground for young players to practice techniques and gain professional experience, and is an opportunity to select outstanding talents to supplement the national youth team.

This year, the tournament is the largest in its history, with nearly 700 athletes from 40 sports delegations representing provinces, cities and sectors across the country. Athletes compete in 5 age groups including U9, U11, U13, U15 and U17, competing in singles, men's doubles, women's doubles and mixed doubles in a knockout format.

Immediately after the solemn opening ceremony, the qualifying matches officially took place in a professional organization space, modern facilities and high professional quality. The young players entered the competition with determination, playing confidently and with stable performance. Many promising young faces made a strong impression right from the first round, promising to create interesting surprises in the next rounds.

According to experts, this year's championship is not only a place for athletes to improve their skills and gain practical experience, but also an important opportunity for localities to review the training of their next generation. This is considered one of the bases for evaluating the effectiveness of investment in high-performance sports of each unit, as well as the uniformity in the quality of young athletes nationwide.
