Launching VTV LP Bank International Marathon – Rhythm Through Time 2025

VHO - On the afternoon of June 23, in Phu Tho, Vietnam Television in collaboration with the People's Committee of Phu Tho province; Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Phu Tho province; Thanh An Media Joint Stock Company and Loc Phat Vietnam Bank (LPBank) organized the Announcement Ceremony of the VTV LPBank International Marathon - Rhythm Through Time 2025.

The announcement ceremony of VTV LPBank International Marathon – Rhythm Through Time 2025 took place on the afternoon of June 23 in Phu Tho.

This is a meaningful sporting event towards the 80th anniversary of the National Day of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam (September 2, 1945 - September 2, 2025), welcoming the 55th anniversary of the first television program broadcast of Vietnam Television (September 7, 1970 - September 7, 2025).

The tournament will have 3 running distances: 6.8km, 10km and 21km. Of which, the 6.8km distance is also the first time the organizers have included it in the competition at VTV LPBank 2025. In addition, an explosive music stage and an exciting beer festival at the finish line will welcome the athletes, along with many prizes with a total value of up to 500 million VND (in cash and in kind), making the "brilliant journey" more complete.

Speaking at the ceremony, Mr. Do Duc Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television, Head of the Steering Committee, emphasized that this was the second time the tournament was held. The successes of the previous year's race were a solid foundation for continued organization and believed that the VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 would leave a deep impression on the participants.

“As a national television station, we always want to create a healthy, large-scale and professional sports playground for everyone. From now on, the organizing committee will focus on careful preparation to ensure the best competition environment and experience for athletes,” said Mr. Do Duc Hoang, Deputy General Director of Vietnam Television and Head of the tournament steering committee.

Following the success of the first season called “Cat Ba Sunset Colors 2024”, the VTV LPBank International Marathon 2025 will officially take place on August 16, 2025 at Flamingo Dai Lai resort, Phu Tho province.

The event will be broadcast live on VTV2 from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on the same day. This is a large-scale sporting event, attracting thousands of professional and amateur athletes from all over the world. Among them, some national athletes such as Do Quoc Luat, Sam Van Doi, Thu Ha... will also compete.

With a unique running route winding along Dai Lai Lake, blending contemporary architectural works and lush natural landscapes, the race promises to bring athletes a classy and inspiring experience.

Each step of the athlete on the running track is not only a conquest of personal challenges, but also a immersion in the flow of history, recreating VTV's journey of overcoming challenges to reach success.

Through the theme Rhythm Through Time , the organizers hope to spread the spirit of enduring sports, while paying tribute to the legacies of the past and inspiring a dynamic future, continuing the mission of connecting millions of Vietnamese hearts.

Through each season, Vietnam Television and the Organizing Committee hope to build a series of large-scale, prestigious and quality running races for the community of people who are passionate and love running, thereby promoting tourism, culture and boosting the economy of Phu Tho province in particular and Vietnam in general.
