Aquaculture output increased by 4% over the same period

In the first quarter of 2025, Ha Tinh 's aquaculture output will reach over 3,400 tons, an increase of 4% over the same period in 2024.

Of which, freshwater aquaculture output reached over 2 thousand tons, brackish water aquaculture output reached nearly 1,400 tons. To achieve the aquaculture output target of over 17,500 tons in 2025, currently the specialized sector and local authorities in the province are focusing on directing the implementation of the aquaculture project in 2025, towards increasing added value and sustainable development.

Promote the development of concentrated production forms, continue to upgrade farming infrastructure, especially in concentrated shrimp farming areas in earthen ponds, to strongly shift from improved extensive and semi-intensive earthen pond shrimp farming to intensive farming to increase productivity and reduce disease risks.

At the same time, strengthen the application of scientific and technological advances in production; inspect and monitor environmental conditions in farming areas, seed production facilities, feed businesses, environmental treatment products, and biological products serving aquaculture production.
