This morning, August 28, domestic gold price increased by 200,000 VND/tael, reaching a new peak of 128.2 million VND/tael.

Opening the market, gold trading enterprises listed the price of SJC gold bars at 126.7 million VND/tael (buy) - 128.2 million VND/tael (sell), an increase of 700,000 VND/tael (buy) and 200,000 VND/tael (sell) compared to the end of the previous day.

The price of gold rings also increased. Saigon Jewelry Company Limited increased the price by VND200,000/tael (buying price) and VND300,000/tael (selling price), up to VND120.1 million/tael (buying price) - VND122.7 million/tael (selling price).

Phu Quy Group increased by 300,000 VND/tael each way, to 119.8 million VND/tael (buy) - 122.8 million VND/tael (sell).

Similarly, Bao Tin Minh Chau Company Limited listed at 120.2 million VND/tael (buy) - 123.2 million VND/tael (sell) instead of the previous 120 million VND/tael (buy) - 123 million VND/tael (sell).

Thus, the domestic gold price has broken the old record to set a historical peak of 128.2 million VND/tael for SJC gold bars and 123.2 million VND/tael for gold rings.

Domestic gold prices continued to rise amid the continued rise in world precious metal prices. Early this morning, international gold prices traded at 3,397 USD/ounce, up 22 USD from the lowest level in last night's trading session, and up 5 USD/ounce compared to the same time yesterday.

At 9:00 a.m., the gold price was trading at 3,387 USD/ounce, about 20.9 million VND/tael lower than the domestic gold price.
