This morning, about 3,500 candidates took the 10th grade exam at Gifted High Schools at 3 testing locations: Gifted High School (District 5 campus), Saigon Practice High School (District 5), Gifted High School (Thu Duc City campus).

In the 2025-2026 school year, the school's enrollment target is 595 students. With 3,509 students registering for the 10th grade exam this year, the competition ratio for each subject is as follows:

• Literature major registered 782 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/7.4.
• Math major registered 1,018 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/9.6.
• English major registered 1,272 - quota 105, competition ratio 1/12.
• Computer science major registered 205 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/2.9.
• Physics major registered 244 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/3.4.
• Chemistry major registered 364 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/5.2.
• Biology major registered 266 - quota 70, competition ratio 1/3.8.

So, grade 10 specialized in math and English are the 2 specialized classes with the highest competition rate in the school.

Compared to the 2024-2025 school year, this year's entrance exam has a lower competition rate.

According to school regulations, after the entrance exam, the school will announce the official questions and answers for all subjects. In previous years, the school announced the questions and answers about 10 days after the exam date.
