Having not appeared on the catwalk for a long time, Sao Mai 2015 Champion in the folk music category Nguyen Thu Hang impressed the audience of Vietnam International Fashion Week 2025 in Ho Chi Minh City when she appeared to sing the opening song Qua cau gio bay in the performance of designer Cao Minh Tien's collection.

Nguyen Thu Hang wore an ao dai design with extremely elaborate embellishments, imbued with the cultural identity of traditional costumes of Northern women in the past. Combining the costume with the song and the singer's voice created a sublime whole, captivating the audience.

This design was created by designer Cao Minh Tien specifically for Nguyen Thu Hang, suitable for the song as well as the folk music genre that Hang pursues, while also highlighting her luxurious and somewhat dreamy but equally brilliant beauty.
It can be said that this appearance of Nguyen Thu Hang is considered her comeback in her career after about 2 years of being quite quiet.

The singer shared that in the past 2 years, she has spent more time with her family and worked hard in her teaching career at the Vietnam National Academy of Music, so she has rarely appeared on the music stage. However, now that her personal life has stabilized, she has returned strongly and full of energy.

Designer Cao Minh Tien's fashion show is part of the Vietnam International Fashion Week 2025. He focuses on exploiting and developing the Ao Dai costume, highlighting traditional features but also infusing it with the designer's own personality. Thoai Mong is a collection in which Cao Minh Tien is strongly inspired by the beauty of Vietnamese folk culture.

Along with the appearance of Sao Mai Nguyen Thu Hang, Cao Minh Tien's fashion show also featured performances by famous names such as: Miss Huong Giang, Miss Ngoc Diep, Miss Bui Quynh Hoa, Cindy Thai Tai...

Each design that Cao Minh Tien makes clearly shows the unique identity in his design style: always a deep blend of tradition and modernity, while being highly applicable.

Since last season's Vietnam International Fashion Week, Cao Minh Tien has introduced to the fashion-loving public designs inspired by the crow-beak scarves, conical hats, and yem shirts of ancient Kinh Bac women.

In this Thoai Mong collection, this inspiration is further emphasized, impressive and eye-catching.
