Deep poetry night "Poems that shape the country"

On the evening of August 14, in Hanoi, towards the 80th anniversary of the August Revolution and National Day September 2, the Army Literature Magazine coordinated with units to organize a poetry night "Poems that shape the country".

The program honors revolutionary poetry, especially works bearing the mark of soldiers, while also paying tribute to the past and praising the achievements of the Party, State, Army and people. The program was attended by General Phan Van Giang, Minister of National Defense .

The program features leading poetry reciters such as People's Artist Van Chuong, People's Artist Ta Tuan Minh, People's Artist Vuong Ha, Meritorious Artist Khuat Quynh Hoa... and artists from the Army Music and Dance Theater.

Here, the audience will also hear the sharing behind the poems that accompany the country and people of poets Nguyen Khoa Diem, Vuong Trong, Pham Sy Sau with the works performed at the program.

Opening the poetry night was the suite The Shape of the Party embedded in the shape of the country, including excerpts from the poems The One Who Searches for the Shape of the Country (Che Lan Vien), The Country (Nguyen Dinh Thi), Lao Bao (To Huu), The National Flag (Xuan Dieu), combined with the music of Uncle Ho, an immense love , performed by artists from the Vietnam Drama Theater and the Army Music and Dance Theater.

With visual led illustrations, many poetic excerpts resonate with emotion such as Hail to the Dien Bien soldiers (To Huu), Mother of the rice fields (Vuong Trong), Vietnamese standing posture (Le Anh Xuan)...

Closing the poetry night, the song Vietnam on the road we go (poem by Xuan Sach, music by Huy Du) left deep emotions in the hearts of the audience when military artists, especially poets in soldier uniforms, wrote immortal epics about Uncle Ho's soldiers, the Fatherland and the people.
