This year, the number of candidates registering their wishes is very large, so the number of virtual candidates is also quite large.

Up to this point, the standard score plan of Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry is still as predicted, the standard score based on high school graduation exam scores may decrease slightly and the standard score of other methods may increase compared to last year.

In majors with many candidates registering for admission such as Mechanics, Automation, Electricity - Electronics, the benchmark score is predicted not to decrease much, some majors may even increase.

Mr. Nhan said that after two virtual filterings, the standard scores of many majors of the school are in the range of 22-25 according to the method of considering high school graduation exam scores. With the standard scores considered from the graduation exam score method like that, the standard score of the transcript will be from 25 to nearly 29 points. The standard score considering the score of the Ho Chi Minh City National University's capacity assessment exam is at 750-900 points.

This year, Ho Chi Minh City University of Industry has proposed a conversion rate at 3 score ranges. At the range of 17-21, the admission score based on the transcript = the high school graduation admission score + 4. At the range of 21-25 points, the admission score based on the transcript = the high school exam admission score x 0.749 + 9.27. Dr. Nguyen Trung Nhan said that the school's decision to set the difference between the transcript and graduation is reasonable compared to the difference between the transcript and graduation announced by the Ministry of Education and Training.
