The International 3-Cushion Carom Billiards Tournament - SCTV Cup 2025 will officially start: May 25 - May 31, 2025 at the location: Ho Xuan Huong Stadium - Ho Chi Minh City.

Knockout round: 30 points/40 rounds – only 2 players will move on

The official round of the tournament will have 8 players divided into 2 groups, each group has 4 people, drawn according to the UMB ranking principle to ensure the most fairness and transparency. The groups compete in a round robin to calculate points, selecting the 2 best players from each group to enter the semi-finals to compete directly for the championship.

Laying the foundation for SCTV's annual international tournament

On May 14, SCTV held a press conference to announce the tournament, marking the first time SCTV organized an international billiards sports tournament.

Mr. Truong Chi Binh - General Director of SCTV affirmed: "Organizing SCTV Cup 2025 is the first step to affirm the capacity to produce - organize - broadcast an international sporting event. This is also a long-term strategic direction in promoting the brand and expanding the role of SCTV in the field of sports broadcasting.

The tournament is also open to the public at Ho Xuan Huong Stadium, but some seats near the TV Table have their own regulations to ensure safety for the live broadcast.
