Lotus - a poetic painting journey on silk and do paper

The exhibition 'Shades of Lotus' is a subtle tribute to the lotus - the eternal symbol of beauty and elegance of Vietnam from 3 Vietnamese female artists.

On the background of silk and do paper, 3 artists Huong Color, Nguyen Hoang Ngan and Trinh Bich Thuy with 3 creative styles chose lotus, the symbol of purity and peace for this fashion and painting event.

The exhibition “Shades of Lotus” runs until July 15 in the space of Namia River Retreat, Da Nang City (formerly Hoi An, Quang Nam ). where indigenous architecture blends with nature.

Each artist has his own rhythm, together creating a space of intersection between form - color - mind - spirit, blending into a multi-colored symphony of lotus.

The collection "Van Tuong Lien - Lotus Dreams in Clouds" by fashion designer Trinh Bich Thuy honors the beauty of nature and spiritual depth.

Inspired by the image of lotus flowers rising up into the clouds, “Van Tuong Lien” harmoniously combines natural elements and surreal inspiration.

The designs are crafted from traditional Vietnamese silk with soft, supple materials, highlighting the elegance and sophistication of the wearer. Lotus and cloud motifs are meticulously shaped and attached, evoking a feeling of nostalgia, gentleness and peace. The color palette is inspired by nature such as early morning sunlight, young leaves, and flower petals, creating a clear, gentle, and poetic visual space.

On silk and Do paper, the artist does not paint lotus but spiritual vibrations, scents, light, moon, water and childhood memories.

The collection "Lotus Maiden" by artist Nguyen Hoang Ngan is a Zen song about a woman who blends into nature, naked among pink lotus to be reborn, to touch the strong and gentle inner energy source.

Using the technique of drawing lines on Do paper, artist Nguyen Hoang Ngan (photo) has created a quiet space.

Painter Hoang Ngan uses stroke drawing techniques, dotting soft watercolors on rustic Do paper close to nature, evoking a sense of harmony and serenity, describing a state of balance, creating relaxation.
