Specifically, on Tuesdays, Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays, single tickets are priced from VND1 million to VND600,000 per person. If visitors book through the Sun Paradise Land app, the price is VND450,000 per person. On peak days Fridays and Saturdays, tickets are priced from VND1.2 million to VND1 million per person, and if purchased through the app, they are VND550,000.
The organizers said that the ticket discount is a "summer privilege" that the unit offers to those who want to experience an unprecedented show in Vietnam. During the 30-minute performance, "Green Island Symphony" brings an "explosive" visual experience to the audience: from extreme sports performances of jetski, flyboard and jetsurf to a fireworks display that lights up the sky with hundreds of special effects.
The show set two Guinness World Records for "Largest Jetskis formation launching fireworks" and "Most backflips on a flyboard in one minute" since May.
Launched at the end of May, "Green Island Symphony" quickly became a "meeting place" for locals and tourists every evening in Cat Ba. Ms. Mai Thanh Huong (a tourist from Hanoi ) shared that at first she did not understand the extreme sports performance so she was curious and booked tickets for her whole family. "When sitting in the stands, enjoying every minute of the artists' performance, I realized that this was a satisfying visual experience," Ms. Huong said.
Mr. Vu Hoang Nam (a tourist from Hai Phong) said he felt like he was watching a show in Dubai or Singapore, but the fireworks in Cat Ba were more brilliant.
François Lefèvre (a tourist from Lyon, France) could not hide his surprise: "I didn't think Vietnam could organize an outdoor show on such a scale. The feeling is very similar to when I went to Cinéscénie in France, but more unique and exciting thanks to music and adventure sports."
According to the organizer, since the show, the central square of Cat Ba has welcomed thousands of visitors every night. On June 19 alone, 7,000 visitors flocked to the central bay - a summer record so far.
Ms. Ngoc Thoa - owner of a small restaurant right next to the central square clearly feels the change. She shared that in the past, visitors to Cat Ba mainly went on tours and returned early. Since the square with shows, night markets, and new restaurants was built, people stay later, even staying overnight. "My restaurant's sales have doubled because of that, sometimes there are no seats left on weekends," Ms. Thoa said.
