Hai Duong economic growth in 6 months exceeded target

In the first 6 months of this year, the estimated total product in Hai Duong reached 62,879 billion VND, an increase of 11.46% over the same period last year, exceeding the growth scenario target.

According to the Department of Finance, in the first six months of 2025, the estimated gross provincial product (GDP) reached VND 62,879 billion, an increase of 11.46% compared to the same period last year, exceeding the province's economic growth plan for 2025 (the plan for the first six months was an increase of 11.4%).

Specifically, the agriculture, forestry, and fisheries sector is estimated to reach VND 6,516 billion, an increase of 6.35%; the industry and construction sector is estimated to reach VND 35,372 billion, an increase of 14.18%; the service sector is estimated to reach VND 15,259 billion, an increase of 8.09%; and product taxes less product subsidies are estimated to reach VND 5,732 billion, an increase of 10.41%.

The province's economic structure has shifted positively. In the first six months of the year, the proportions of agriculture, forestry, and fisheries - industry and construction - services and product taxes minus product subsidies were 9.76% - 56.53% - 25.11% - 8.61%, respectively.
