From the beginning of May, the sea surface in front of Cat Ba beach (Cat Ba, Hai Phong ) was unexpectedly stirred by many "sounds": the sound of jet skis cutting through the waves, the sound of flyboards soaring into the air, interspersed with the shouts of a series of international athletes training in the middle of the ocean, creating an unprecedentedly vibrant scene.
This is the time when "Green Island Symphony" – Vietnam's largest-scale extreme water sports show – officially enters its rehearsal phase.

This isn't just a few practice moves; it's a large-scale artistic production process requiring synchronization between people, modern equipment, and nature, practiced daily under real conditions: real waves, real wind, real pressure.
Accordingly, the international athletes entered a technical training phase lasting nearly two weeks. With almost 40 athletes and dozens of jet skis, flyboards, and supporting equipment operating continuously each day, it created a high-intensity work pace.

With the stage situated entirely on the sea, every movement must be precisely timed according to wind speed, waves, hydraulic depth, and nighttime visibility.
After the rehearsal phase, around mid-May, the team will set up the performance technology. The intensity of training will be even higher when the official show rehearsal is scheduled for the evening of May 19th – when the entire script will be run for the first time in the correct sequence, complete with fireworks, sound, lighting, and performance formations.

Every detail, from the timing of the fireworks to the rhythm of the flyboard ascent, was meticulously refined down to the second. This preparation took place quietly, without stage lights or an audience – but it was the foundation upon which, on May 23rd, the first symphony of the sea off Cat Ba could be performed in a complete and spectacular manner.
According to the plan, the "Green Island Symphony" will officially debut to visitors on the evening of May 23rd and maintain a schedule of 5 nights per week (Tuesday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday), expected to last until September 2nd.

The Jetski fireworks show "Symphony of the Green Island" received an investment of nearly 200 billion VND. The production team includes world- renowned names such as H2O Events – a famous Australian company producing water and fireworks shows – and LaserVision – the company behind shows like Imagine at Dubai Festival City (Dubai) and Wonder Full at Marina Bay Sands (Singapore)...
