Si Ma Cai supports funding for people to build houses

Of the 100 households whose houses were damaged, 79 households need to rebuild their houses, the rest need to be repaired. The total estimated cost is over 80.5 billion VND. In the past, the provincial Relief Mobilization Committee has allocated over 21.7 billion VND to Si Ma Cai district. The district's Relief Mobilization Committee has spent more than 10 billion VND to support households to repair and rebuild their houses, the rest is mobilized from social resources from agencies, units, enterprises and benefactors. Currently, 100% of households with damaged houses in the district have received financial support of 100 million VND for households building new houses; 25 million VND for households repairing their houses. Up to now, 10 households have moved into new houses, the remaining households are striving to complete their houses before the Lunar New Year 2025.
