Super yacht brings nearly 1,700 Japanese tourists to Ha Long on first day of holiday

This morning, the Japanese super cruise ship Pacific World brought nearly 1,700 tourists to Ha Long (Quang Ninh) for a visit right on the occasion of the April 30-May 1 holiday.

Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh (red shirt) presented flowers and souvenirs to the tourist group.

All these passengers will visit the famous sights of Ha Long Bay, and also take a double-decker bus to tour around the streets of the coastal city.

Japanese tourists excited to receive flowers

"This is the first time I have been to Ha Long but I feel the hospitality and novelty of this city. There are many coastal cities in Japan but this is the first time I feel excited to explore the unique culture, beauty and cuisine of this place", said Mr. Yoshioka Tatsuya (Japanese tourist).

According to Vice Chairwoman of Quang Ninh Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Hanh, this is the first group of Japanese tourists to visit Ha Long by super yacht. This is a good sign for Quang Ninh tourism industry.

The province will create the best conditions to attract more tourists, especially high-end tourists. In the next few months, there will be more super yachts bringing thousands of tourists to Ha Long for sightseeing and exploration.
