Da Nang team fired first in the opening night of DIFF 2025 with a series of high-altitude fireworks. In the 20-minute performance, the host team brought an emotional fireworks symphony on the Han River, telling the story of advanced Vietnamese culture, imbued with identity and reaching the world .

With the theme "Cultural Essence", the performance of the Da Nang team is divided into 4 chapters: Blending - Honoring - Integrating - Pioneering and Glory.

Due to the stillness of the wind, the smoke after each artillery barrage lingered in the air, limiting the visibility of the Vietnamese artillery barrages, especially when high-altitude artillery barrages were fired simultaneously.

More than 5,000 fireworks explode in 20 minutes, combined with vivid lighting effects and music such as "Bonjour Vietnam", "Titanium", "City of Light", "Glory", creating a dynamic and aspirational city scene.

From soft rain of fireworks to the wave-like effects of simultaneous fireworks, the audience is led through a flow of deep and proud emotions.

In particular, the image of Ngu Hanh Son recreated against the fireworks sky has become a sacred highlight, conveying a message about the connection, identity and development aspirations of the coastal city.

According to the Organizing Committee, each fireworks program is a unique cultural slice, demonstrating the creativity, integration and pioneering spirit of Da Nang.

Responding to the audience's expectations, the JoHo Pyro Professional Fireworks AB team (Finland) - the reigning champion of DIFF 2024 - brought an impressive "Nordic Lights" performance on the banks of the Han River.

Following the host team Da Nang - Vietnam, the Finnish team took the audience on an emotional journey, opening with vibrant pop and rock melodies such as "Diamond Eyes", "Liar" and "Heroes Are Calling", telling the story of Nordic people between the sea and ice.

The fan-shaped fireworks, rotating like a stork's wings, are a friendly greeting and a tribute to the native culture from the Finnish representative.

Water cannon technique - the "weapon" that helped Finland win the championship last year, continues to be creatively developed, combining moving light like underground waves, recreating the journey of survival on a remote island.

The fireworks explode in waves, softening during the ballad "Stormskärs Maja", evoking images of boats drifting through Baltic fog.

The performance gradually reached its climax with a series of continuous high-altitude fireworks, creating a brilliant "aurora" of blue, purple, and pink in the sky of Da Nang, as if taking the audience to frozen Lapland.

The Finnish team also had a surprising combination with two Vietnamese songs "Bong phu hoa" and "Vu co bay", creating a unique blend of music and fireworks images.

Spectators watched the Finnish team's performance from the 25th floor of the Wink Hotel on Tran Hung Dao Street, Son Tra District. On the opening night of the 2025 Da Nang International Fireworks Festival, all hotels with a view of the fireworks from above were fully booked.

This year, for the first time, the festival has 10 participating teams, including 2 teams from Vietnam, Finland, England, Portugal, Poland, Korea, Italy, Canada and China. The next performance night is next Saturday.
