In addition, the inspection teams forced the on-site destruction of many types of food products of 32 establishments; forced 102 other establishments to take measures to correct many other violations such as: health check-ups, confirmation of knowledge training for workers, strengthening facility sanitation...; forced the destruction of 27.5 kg of ham products positive for borax, and suspended ham processing activities of the violating establishment for 1 month.
The provincial interdisciplinary steering committee on food safety has directed units to collect samples and inspect and monitor food safety during the Food Safety Action Month, taking a total of 326 food samples to check food safety indicators, of which 292 samples were quickly tested and 34 samples were sent for testing. As a result, 32/34 samples passed the test and 289/292 samples passed the rapid test.
It is known that in recent times, especially during the Month of Action for Food Safety and Hygiene, propaganda work has been deployed synchronously, diversely and creatively, reaching many subjects in the community, actively contributing to raising awareness and changing actions in the business community and the People, promoting the production of clean and safe food.
Thanks to that, the whole province has not had any food poisoning incidents. Inspection and supervision work is carried out seriously and according to plan, ensuring timely detection and handling of food safety violations according to the law.
