DEPARTMENT OF ETHNIC MINORITIES AND RELIGION ORGANIZES ETHNIC KNOWLEDGE TRAINING CLASS IN 2025 TO CONTRIBUTE TO IMPROVING STAFF CAPACITY AND PROMOTING DEVELOPMENT IN ETHNIC MINORITY AREAS

Implementing Plan No. 31/KH-SDTTG dated April 24, 2025 of the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lang Son province, in order to improve qualifications and update knowledge on ethnic policies and ethnic minority culture for officials at all levels from July 15 to July 29, 2025, the Department of Ethnic Minorities and Religions of Lang Son province coordinated with the Ethnic Minorities Academy to organize ethnic knowledge training classes in Luong Van Tri ward, Lang Son province, an activity under Sub-project 2, Project 5 of the National Target Program on socio-economic development of ethnic minority and mountainous areas.

The 2025 ethnic knowledge training class is divided into 03 sessions, with a total of 05 classes:

Class for target group 3 : key leaders at the commune level; principals and vice principals of schools in ethnic minority areas . The course opens on July 15 and closes on July 19, 2025.

Class for group 4 receiving salary from the state budget : Cadres, civil servants, and public employees working in ethnic affairs at provincial and commune-level agencies. Time from July 20 to July 24, 2025.

Class for group 4 who do not receive salary from the state budget : Party cell secretaries, village and block chiefs in ethnic minority areas. Time from July 25 to July 29, 2025.

Participating in the training course, students are updated with 06 topics on ethnic policies, ethnic minority culture, mass mobilization skills, building great national unity, and experience in implementing ethnic work at the grassroots level.

In addition to theoretical learning, classes also organize field trips for students to learn about the socio -economic development model of ethnic minority areas, from which they can flexibly apply it to the local realities of their work areas.

Through the training program, the team of cadres, civil servants, public employees, Party cell secretaries, village and block heads are equipped with more knowledge and skills to effectively carry out ethnic work, mobilize people to develop the economy - society, build cultural life, preserve national identity, and contribute to building Lang Son province to develop sustainably and stably.
