The Ho Chi Minh City Department of Education and Training has just issued a document guiding the organization of the 10th grade entrance exam on June 5, 6 and 7. In particular, the department especially reminded candidates of the following important points:
- Be present at the examination board (exam venue)/exam room at the specified time; present your citizen identification card and registration form. If you have not been issued a citizen identification card, present your student card.
- If there are any errors in the last name, middle name, first name, date of birth, or priority subject, it must be immediately reported to the supervisor or the person in charge at the examination council for timely handling.
In case of loss of ID card or registration form, it must be reported immediately to the Chairman of the examination board for consideration and handling.
For each exam session, candidates must be present at the examination board (exam venue)/exam room at the specified time, follow the instructions of the examination board and the supervisor. Candidates who arrive more than 15 minutes late after the exam start time signal will not be allowed to take the exam for that session.
Candidates at a 10th grade exam in Ho Chi Minh City
Candidates taking the 10th grade exam must comply with the following regulations in the exam room, including:
- Sit in the correct position with your registration number; present your ID card and registration form when requested by the invigilator or person on duty at the examination council;
- To serve the exam process, candidates are allowed to bring into the 10th grade exam room the following: Pens; rulers; pencils; erasers; set squares; graphing rulers; drawing tools; handheld calculators without text editing function, no memory card; no integrated periodic table of chemical elements; grade 9 history and geography atlas - geography section (according to the 2018 General Education Program - VietnamEducation Publishing House).
- Prohibited from bringing into the 10th grade exam room: Carbon paper, erasers, alcoholic beverages; weapons and explosives, flammable substances; documents, communication equipment (receiving, broadcasting information, recording audio, video) or containing information to cheat during the exam; periodic table of chemical elements and solubility table.
- Before taking the 10th grade exam, candidates must fill in their registration number and information on the exam paper, exam paper, and scratch paper. When receiving the exam paper, carefully check the number of pages and the quality of the printed pages; if you find that the exam paper is missing pages or is torn, damaged, smudged, or faded, you must immediately report to the invigilator no later than 5 minutes from the start of the exam time.
During the examination room, you must maintain order; immediately report to the supervisor when others copy your test or intentionally interfere with your test; do not exchange, discuss, copy other people's test, let others copy your test, use documents against the regulations to do the test or have any fraudulent gestures or actions; if you want to give your opinion, you must raise your hand to ask the supervisor for permission; after receiving permission, you must stand up and present your opinion publicly. You are not allowed to mark or make your own symbols, you are not allowed to write in pencil, except to draw circles with a compass; you are only allowed to write in one color of ink (blue or black).
Candidates may only leave the examination room after 2/3 of the exam time and must submit their exam papers, exam questions and scratch paper before leaving the examination room or examination area; if candidates must temporarily leave the examination room, the invigilator must notify the invigilator to coordinate the implementation; candidates leaving the examination room or examination area in case of emergency must be supervised by the police and the invigilator until the end of the exam session and will be decided by the Chairman of the examination council.
When the test time is over, you must stop working immediately and keep your test papers. When submitting your test papers, you must clearly state the number of test papers submitted and sign the two test receipts; candidates who are unable to complete the test must also submit their test papers.
Candidates must strictly follow the instructions of the invigilator and the person in charge at the examination board when an unusual incident occurs.
