On June 1, Hanoi Children's Palace held a ceremony to celebrate its 70th anniversary (June 1, 1955 - June 1, 2025) with the participation of Party Central Committee member, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang.

Member of the Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of the Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Pham Tat Thang and Head of the Department of People's Organizations, Central Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Commission Vy Tu Lieu presented flowers to congratulate Hanoi Children's Palace.

Speaking at the ceremony, Director of Hanoi Children's Palace Duong Minh Duc emphasized that Hanoi Children's Palace today is the result of a 70-year journey of continuous development, starting from the first steps right after the day the capital was liberated.

From the initial simple classes, Hanoi Children's Palace now has a system of nearly 60 clubs and gifted classes, attracting thousands of children to participate each year.

Hundreds of thousands of children have studied, trained and grown up under this roof. Many of them have become excellent citizens, scientists , artists, officials, engineers, doctors… contributing positively to society.

Speaking at the program, Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union Chu Hong Minh emphasized that with the attention of the Party, the State and Hanoi City, the Hanoi Children's Palace is becoming more and more spacious and modern, becoming a place for children to have fun, develop their talents, train their ethics and personality, and strongly attract the attention of children and their parents.

Secretary of the Central Youth Union, President of the Central Committee of the Vietnam Youth Union Nguyen Tuong Lam presented flowers to congratulate the Hanoi Children's Palace.

The Secretary of the Hanoi Youth Union believes that the Board of Directors, together with the staff and teachers of the Palace, will continue to innovate, create, and improve the quality of content and methods of organizing activities. Gradually build the Children's Palace into a large-scale, high-qualityeducational and skills center for children in the capital. This is a place to inspire passion, develop talent and shape the personality of the young generation.

With outstanding achievements and persistent, dedicated contributions to the cause of educating people, Hanoi Children's Palace has been honored to receive many noble awards from the Party and State such as: First Class Labor Medal in 1991, First Class Independence Medal in 2005, Certificate of Merit from the Prime Minister in 2014.

At the ceremony, Hanoi Children's Palace was honored to receive the Emulation Flag of the Central Council of the Young Pioneers for its excellent completion of the task of protecting, caring for, and educating children and adolescents in 2025. The Central Council of the Young Pioneers also awarded Certificates of Merit to 5 outstanding individuals who had outstanding achievements in protecting, caring for, and educating children and adolescents in 2025.

Hanoi People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective and 3 individuals with many outstanding achievements in organizing and implementing innovative activities to foster talents for children in the city...
