On the morning of June 3, the price of SJC gold bars and gold rings continued to increase.

(NLDO) – The price of SJC gold bars and gold rings increased again following the strong upward trend of world prices.

At 9:00 a.m. on June 3, the domestic gold market recorded an upward trend when large gold trading enterprises such as SJC, PNJ, and DOJI simultaneously adjusted their price listings in an upward direction.

Specifically, the price of SJC gold bars is being traded at 116 million VND per tael for buying and 118 million VND per tael for selling, an increase of 200,000 VND compared to the end of yesterday.

Similarly, the price of 99.99% gold rings and jewelry gold also increased by 300,000 VND per tael, currently fluctuating between 111.5 - 114 million VND/tael (buy-sell).

In the international market, the price of gold is at 3,376 USD/ounce, a sharp increase of 50 USD compared to the previous trading session. Compared to the weekend, each ounce of gold has increased by about 85 USD, or nearly 2.6 million VND per tael if converted.

Although domestic gold prices have increased following the global trend, the adjustment speed has been slower. This reflects the caution of domestic businesses and shows the relative stability of the domestic market compared to strong fluctuations in the international market.

Domestic gold prices increase again following the upward trend of world prices

Gold prices soared today in the international market as investors increased their demand for safe havens due to concerns about US-China trade tensions. Over the weekend, US President Donald Trump accused China of violating the trade agreement and announced an increase in tariffs on steel and aluminum imports from this country, increasing concerns about instability in global financial markets.

The precious metal also benefited from a weak US dollar. The US dollar index (DXY) is currently trading at 98.8 points, much lower than the 100 point mark at the end of last week.

Currently, the world gold price converted according to the listed exchange rate is about 106.7 million VND/tael. Domestic gold prices fluctuate more slowly than the world price, helping to narrow the gap. The price of SJC gold bars is about 11 million VND/tael higher than the world price.
