Summary of 5 years of implementing Resolution No. 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo

On the afternoon of June 21, Ngoc Hoi District Party Committee held a Conference to review 5 years of implementing Resolution 35-NQ/TW dated October 22, 2018 of the 12th Politburo "on strengthening the protection of the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against erroneous and hostile views in the new situation".

Over the past 5 years, the Steering Committee of 35 districts has promoted its role and responsibility in advising Party committees at all levels to effectively implement Resolution 35-NQ/TW of the Politburo in the area. Thereby, it has created positive changes and raised awareness among cadres, party members and people in being vigilant, proactively preventing and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints, and protecting the Party's ideological foundation.

The work ofeducating , disseminating and propagating political theory, the Party's viewpoints, guidelines and policies, and the State's policies and laws is carried out synchronously, seriously, promptly, effectively and in accordance with local reality.

Over the past 5 years, 16 classes have been organized to study and disseminate resolutions and conclusions on protecting the Party's ideological foundation in person and online with the participation of 3,588 cadres and party members; 47 classes to study and disseminate directives and resolutions with the participation of 9,068 cadres, party members, civil servants and public employees; 11 political training classes for cadres, teachers and staff in the education sector with the participation of 2,539 cadres, teachers and staff.

The fight against and refuting of wrong and hostile views, especially on cyberspace, has been strengthened. Groups have actively shared news and articles reflecting the economic, cultural, social, political security, and social order and safety situation in the district. Typically, the fanpage "NGỌC HỌI XANH" of the Steering Committee of 35 districts has over 2,700 followers; the pages "Ngoc Hoi News", "Ngoc Hoi Youth"...

The Standing Office of the 35 District Steering Committees proactively coordinated with functional agencies and localities in grasping, organizing the fight against, and refuting distorted, incorrect, and hostile viewpoints; effectively implementing two-way information between the district and the grassroots, verifying and promptly handling incidents arising in the district. The effective implementation of the resolution has contributed to a clear change in the awareness of Party committees, Party organizations, and unions at all levels about the role and responsibility in implementing the task of protecting the Party's ideological foundation, fighting against incorrect and hostile points in the new situation in the locality.

On this occasion, the Conference awarded Certificates of Merit from the Provincial Party Standing Committee to 8 Party members, Ngoc Hoi District Party Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 1 collective that has excellently completed its tasks for 5 consecutive years (2018 - 2023); Ngoc Hoi District People's Committee awarded Certificates of Merit to 8 collectives and 12 individuals who have done a good job in protecting the Party's ideological foundation and fighting against erroneous and hostile viewpoints.
