Giving gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, officers and soldiers on the border

(kontumtv.vn) – As part of the series of activities of the Journey to the Source “Following the Footsteps of the 1975 Spring General Offensive and Uprising”, the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Ho Chi Minh City Party Committee in coordination with the Propaganda and Mass Mobilization Department of the Kon Tum Provincial Party Committee presented gifts to families of policy beneficiaries, people in difficult circumstances, and officers and soldiers in the border commune of Po Y, Ngoc Hoi district.

The delegation presented 50 gifts to families of policy beneficiaries and war invalids; 30 gifts to poor households and households in difficult circumstances; 20 gifts to poor students who have overcome difficulties to study well; 60 bundles of Ao Dai fabric to female teachers; more than 30 gifts to officers and soldiers of the Mobile Training Battalion, Provincial Border Guard Command with a total cost of more than 150 million VND. All funds were contributed by artists of the Ho Chi Minh City Literature and Arts Association.

On this occasion, the delegation awarded 2 scholarships to 2 adopted children of the border guard station with a total value of 20 million VND and many meaningful gifts for officers, soldiers and people on the border line of Ngoc Hoi district. Thereby, expressing the spirit of drinking water remembering its source, the feelings of artists of Ho Chi Minh City towards the people of the border area./.
