In February 2014, the People's Committee of Kon Tum Province approved the investment policy of Tay Nguyen - Dak Ha Tapioca Starch Company Limited to build a factory in Dak Mar Industrial Cluster, Dak Ha District with a total area of ​​over 16 hectares. By September 2014, the Company officially went into operation with a capacity of 120 tons of finished products/day and night. Mr. Nguyen Van Binh - Deputy Director of Tay Nguyen - Dak Ha Tapioca Starch Company Limited, said: " The local government has introduced, arranged suitable land funds and coordinated to resolve problems in a very harmonious and timely manner. Supported the introduction of locally trained workers and coordinated to resolve administrative procedures as well as arising issues during the project implementation process. Thereby, both creating jobs with high income for workers and exploiting local resources well."

After more than 10 years of operation, in order to expand the scale of production and business, the Company has invested in a production line with an estimated capacity of 240 tons of finished products/day and night. In addition, the unit has linked, provided technical support and seedlings, and expanded the planting of raw material areas with a scale of hundreds of hectares in Kon Tum province. Thereby, attracting 120 local workers with an average salary of 7 to 10 million VND/person/month.

Clearly identifying the role of economic sectors in implementing the local socio-economic development tasks, along with increasing investment attraction, Dak Ha district also focuses on implementing many preferential policies, supporting the transfer of science and technology, high technology into production; creating conditions for non-state enterprises to operate effectively.

Ta Tien Fish Breeding Company Limited in Dak Ha town is one of the new enterprises with many breakthrough directions in production and business. Starting from the model of individual business households operating in the field of aquaculture, with the support of specialized departments and branches, the enterprise has successfully implemented many high-tech application models such as green-legged shrimp farming; breeding and raising black carp, commercial carp... Up to now, the enterprise has expanded its links, supplied breeds, provided technical advice and consumed freshwater fish products for over 500 households in the whole province with a total area of ​​over 200 hectares of water surface, with an average profit of nearly 1 billion VND/hectare of water surface. Mr. Nguyen Huu Ta - Director of Ta Tien Fish Seed Company Limited, said: " Dak Ha District Party Committee as well as the District People's Committee have created favorable conditions for businesses to build models and we have been able to replicate the models, especially the models assigned to businesses by the Department of Science and Technology of the province, together with the Department of Economic Infrastructure, we have almost succeeded and replicated the models very large. For people in the district as well as in the province who have a need for aquaculture, the company also sends staff to provide technical advice, then the company invests in seeds and consumes products, so the company is expanding day by day."

Up to now, Dak Ha district has 03 industrial clusters, of which 02 industrial clusters have a high rate of industrial land for lease. The activities of private enterprises are increasingly expanding in scale and diversifying in industries, production and business fields with over 2,500 private commercial and service establishments, attracting more than 3,500 regular workers. Notably, many enterprises have invested in science and technology in the fields of production and processing associated with building product brands, promoting economic restructuring, actively contributing to the task of socio-economic development and new rural construction of the locality.
