Attending at the Central Inspection Commission bridge were Politburo member, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu; Politburo member, Secretary of the Party Central Committee, Chairman of the Central Inspection Commission Nguyen Duy Ngoc. At the Hue City Party Committee bridge, there was Standing Deputy Secretary of the City Party Committee Pham Duc Tien.
At the conference, the Central Inspection Commission assessed that in the first 6 months of 2025, the Party Inspection work received attention and direction from the Central Executive Committee, the Politburo, the Secretariat, the General Secretary and Party committees at all levels. The Inspection Commissions at all levels have comprehensively and effectively implemented the tasks prescribed by the Party Charter and the tasks of Party committees and steering committees on preventing and combating corruption, waste and negativity.
For the first time, the Central Inspection Commission advised the establishment of 19 inspection teams for a number of key work topics in 2025 of the Politburo and the Secretariat for 100% of party organizations directly under the Central Committee; thereby, monitoring and urging party organizations to overcome 294 shortcomings and limitations; resolving 226 cases of prolonged complaints and denunciations that went beyond the Central level.
The scope of the inspection and supervision has been expanded, more comprehensive, deeper, and more closely following the Party's resolutions and directives; in which, Party committees at all levels inspected 153 Party organizations, 655 Party members, and 433 Party Committee members when there were signs of violations. Inspection committees at all levels inspected 412 Party organizations, 1,559 Party members, and 831 Party Committee members when there were signs of violations; inspected the implementation of inspection and supervision tasks in over 5,700 Party organizations, and inspected the implementation of discipline in nearly 3,100 Party organizations.
In the last 6 months of 2025, the Central Inspection Commission will proactively advise, coordinate, and ensure the quality and timely implementation of tasks assigned by Party committees at all levels, the Central Steering Committee, and provincial steering committees on preventing and combating corruption, waste, and negativity. Continue to strongly innovate the thinking, methods, and ways of organizing inspection and supervision work in the spirit of the General Secretary's direction, shifting the focus to effectively implementing supervision work to ensure that resolutions, directives, and conclusions of the Central Committee, the Politburo, and the Secretariat are implemented promptly, effectively, in the right direction, and in accordance with regulations.
Review to advise and promulgate, amend, supplement, and perfect regulations, rules, and procedures on Party inspection and discipline work. Focus on implementing well the inspection and discipline work to serve the organization of Party Congresses at all levels, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party. Inspect and supervise hot issues of public concern such as state management of land, minerals, energy, food safety, etc., contributing to unlocking resources for socio-economic development.
Speaking at the conference, Standing member of the Secretariat Tran Cam Tu emphasized that in just one week, the country will enter a historic moment when the two-level local government comes into operation. In the coming time, the workload is large and important. Therefore, the Inspection Committees at all levels continue to thoroughly grasp the regulations and effectively implement the inspection work.
The Central Inspection Commission promptly advised and issued the inspection process associated with the 2-level local government model. Effectively implemented and strengthened regular inspection and supervision work, inspection and supervision to serve Party congresses at all levels for the 2025-2030 term, towards the 14th National Congress of the Party; matters of public concern, and the implementation of major development policies of the country.
“In the process of implementing the organizational structure, through understanding the situation, there are still shortcomings and limitations, and signs of violations have been pointed out. The Inspection Committees at all levels are required to focus on effectively implementing the inspection work to promptly handle signs of violations such as group interests, taking advantage of policies for personal gain; slow implementation of relevant conclusions, directives, and resolutions; signs of locality when arranging staff; some merged agencies, departments, and localities are slow in transferring finances, or taking advantage of asset purchases…”, Tran Cam Tu, Standing member of the Secretariat, requested.
At the conference, the Prime Minister awarded certificates of merit to 1 collective and 20 individuals with outstanding achievements in Party inspection work; the Central Commission for Inspection's emulation flag was awarded to 10 collectives, and certificates of merit of the Central Commission for Inspection were awarded to 18 collectives and 36 individuals with outstanding achievements in Party inspection work.
