The first facility in the plan to suddenly inspect beauty salons and dental clinics with violations is Chi Lang Dental Clinic (No. 14 Tran Nhan Tong Street, Khanh Xuan Ward, Buon Ma Thuot City), which has been operating without a license and has been suspended but is still operating "illegally".

At the time of the facility inspection, the team did not detect any patients, so they checked the customer tracking book from January 2 to January 21, 2025. The service room was inspected, equipped with dental chairs and medical supplies, and medical waste including used cotton and gloves was generated.

The facility representative has not yet presented a practice license and documents related to medical examination and treatment activities, so the delegation has drawn up a record of the above actions.

Ms. Ho Thi Tuoi - Head of Buon Ma Thuot City Health Department (head of the delegation) - said that Chi Lang dental clinic had to receive guests while it was suspended.

"We will invite the person in charge of the facility to clarify who is providing the service without a license, whether they have a practice certificate or not... to handle it," Ms. Tuoi said.

Previously, the Chi Lang Dental Clinic was suspended for 18 months and fined VND45 million per day (from December 31, 2024) by the Dak Lak Department of Health for "providing medical examination and treatment services without a license to operate medical examination and treatment".

Checking a series of illegal dental and cosmetic clinics

According to Ms. Tuoi, the inspection of Chi Lang dental clinic is part of a plan to suddenly inspect suspended dental clinics and beauty salons, operating illegally, as reported by Tuoi Tre Online .

In addition to the above facility, the delegation continued to inspect other cosmetic facilities, including JK Medical Cosmetic Clinic (No. 89 Ly Thai To Street, Tan Loi Ward); JK Smile Creation Dental Clinic (No. 118 Le Hong Phong Street, Tan Tien Ward); Viet Duc Dental Clinic (No. 171 Hai Ba Trung Street, Thanh Cong Ward) and Plaster International Clinic (No. 111 Le Thanh Tong Street, Thanh Cong Ward).
