The Department of Culture will review the content of the 'press conference telling the private story' of singer Jack.

A representative of the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports said they would review the content of singer Jack's press conference. Previously, he asked for permission to hold a press conference to launch a new project, but most of the event's duration was spent telling personal stories.

On the afternoon of July 24, at the annual press conference at the Ho Chi Minh City Press Center, Mr. Tran Minh Khiem - Head of the Press and Publishing Department under the Ho Chi Minh City Department of Culture and Sports responded to the press conference held by singer Jack (J-97) that has caused a stir in public opinion in recent days.

Accordingly, Mr. Khiem confirmed that the Department has approved J-97 Promotion company to hold a press conference to announce singer Jack's new project on July 16.

In response to the feedback that the content of the press conference mostly revolved around private matters, the Department said it had recorded and re-evaluated the entire content of the press conference to see if it was consistent with the licensed content.

"We will have specific information when the evaluation results are available," the Department said.

Jack's press conference took place on July 16 in Ho Chi Minh City, marking the first time the male singer appeared before the media after the turmoil in his personal life and career.

The event was attended by Jack, his mother, Ms. Tran Thi Cam Loan, and the singer's representative lawyer.

Initially, the male singer's team announced the press conference to introduce music projects, marking a new milestone for the male singer. However, Jack's team only spent a short time mentioning the projects.

After the press conference, public opinion continued to be controversial. Many opinions said that the male singer initially asked for a license and announced that he was sharing about a new project, but most of the content mentioned the noise, "accusing" Thien An of being inappropriate.
