The event aims to celebrate the success of the 18th Hanoi Party Congress, term 2025-2030 and the 18th Hanoi Fatherland Front Congress, term 2025-2030. The Friendship Tennis Tournament attracted the participation of nearly 100 amateur tennis players from the Department of Culture and Sports ; Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations and member friendship associations; embassies and international organizations such as: Ireland, Canada, Russia, Japan, France, Philippines...
This is a friendly sports activity, aiming to create conditions for foreign diplomats working in Hanoi to meet and exchange with cultural, sports and people's foreign affairs officials of the capital, thereby strengthening solidarity and friendship between the people of Hanoi and international friends.

According to Permanent Vice President of the Hanoi Union of Friendship Organizations Tran Thi Phuong, the Tournament contributes to promoting the image of the peaceful capital Hanoi and its dynamic, enthusiastic and sport-loving people to international friends; at the same time, strengthen coordination with embassies of other countries in friendly exchange activities, create a bridge of cooperation and friendship in areas of interest to all parties, contribute to promoting international integration, attracting investment and cooperation in socio-economic development with the capital and other countries in the world.
Players compete in the following events: Men's singles, men's doubles, and mixed doubles within one morning.
At the end of the competition day, the Organizing Committee awarded the first prize in the men's doubles category for the age group of 51-60 to the athlete pair Le Xuan Huy - Ngo Tien Duy of the Vietnam-Palestine Friendship Association of Hanoi city.
First prize in the men's doubles category for the age group 41-50 went to the pair of athletes Phan Anh Quang - Dinh Tien Dat of the Vietnam-Russia Friendship Association of Hanoi city.

First prize in the men's singles category for the age group 41-50 went to athlete Tran Van Do of the Vietnam-UK Friendship Association of Hanoi city.
First prize in the mixed doubles category for the age group of 41-50 belonged to the athlete pair Utsumi Rai - Utsumi Mako of the Embassy of Japan in Vietnam.
The Friendship Style Award went to athletes Tran Quoc Phuong, Mikhail Repin, Arkady Druzhinin (Russian Embassy in Vietnam); athlete Do Van Luong (Vietnam - UK Friendship Association, Hanoi).
