According to Windows Central , the space role-playing game Starfield is off to an excellent start as predicted, becoming Bethesda's biggest launch ever with over 6 million players and over 1 million concurrent players across all platforms on release day. Since then, Starfield has continued to find success of its own.
Recently, developer Bethesda Game Studios revealed via a Twitter post that Starfield has now surpassed 10 million players worldwide , for both PC and Xbox platforms. With the game also available via Game Pass, this has certainly contributed positively to the player count.

In Gaming Bolt's review of Starfield , the game scored a perfect 10/10, noting that the subject matter it tackles is so vast that it elevates its genre to new heights.
Bethesda Game Studios has previously hinted at some of the features the team will be adding to Starfield in future updates, including DLSS support, FOV options, and more. Notably, the Starfield Creation Kit will also be available early next year, allowing fans to get creative with the game's content.
Despite its popularity, Starfield has recently encountered some problems with Windows 11, especially after the platform's latest update. Specifically, many users have reported constant crashes, slowdowns, and blue screens of death (BSOD) after updating the operating system. Gamers seem to be the most affected, with the performance of Starfield and Ratchet and Clank: Rift Apart being noticeably degraded.
