On May 8, the Tax Department of Region I held a conference to accompany businesses, business households, and individual businesses in implementing the electronic invoice solution generated from cash registers.

According to regulations, households and individuals doing business with annual revenue of 1 billion VND or more must use electronic invoices generated from cash registers, connect and transfer data to tax authorities instead of paying lump-sum taxes as at present.

Head of the Tax Department of Region I, Vu Manh Cuong, said that in addition to disseminating regulations and policies, this is also an opportunity for tax authorities to listen to, support, and resolve difficulties and problems of taxpayers.

Using electronic invoices generated from cash registers not only helps to make transactions transparent and reduce costs, but also supports taxpayers in effective management and easy lookup, bringing many practical benefits.

Invoice data is transferred to tax authorities through an organization providing electronic data receiving, transmission and storage services, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Manage invoices easily through the website hoadondientu.gdt.gov.vn or the electronic invoice lookup application on mobile phones; support in preparing financial and accounting reports; simplify tax declaration and payment procedures.

The Tax Department of Region I has mobilized, propagated and supported households and individuals doing business to fully declare taxes, preparing to implement from June 1, 2025, when the regulation on using electronic invoices takes effect.

At the conference, representatives of suppliers introduced technological solutions to support taxpayers in using electronic invoices generated from cash registers.
