Using state budget capital to activate non-state resources

On the morning of March 25, speaking at the event " Binh Duong : Starting - Connecting - New Development", Deputy Prime Minister Le Minh Khai assessed that Binh Duong province has been strong in building and developing the strategy of "rolling out a flower mat to invite investment", making the province become a leading locality in developing service industry in the region and the whole country.

In the coming time, the Deputy Prime Minister said that Binh Duong needs to effectively use investment capital from the State budget to lead and activate all non-State resources. Along with that, the province must increase the mobilization and effective use of resources from enterprises for common development.

The Deputy Prime Minister suggested that Binh Duong needs to continue to identify the construction of a solid modern infrastructure system, which is an important key in regional connectivity, reducing pressure on road traffic, improving production and business efficiency of economic sectors, thereby creating leverage to continue attracting investment.

Mr. Vo Van Minh, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the People's Committee of Binh Duong province, said that the Industrial - Urban - Service development model is a unique choice of Binh Duong, playing a strategic role, aiming to upgrade the urban planning system and industrial system of the province.

The renovation of existing urban areas and the comprehensive renovation of the transportation system create a stepping stone to consolidate and comprehensively develop urban areas, urban economy and socio-cultural life for the people.

"This is the difference that helps Binh Duong develop industry on a large scale throughout the province, as well as spread its model to many provinces and cities across the country," said Mr. Vo Van Minh.

In the coming time, facing increasingly strict new requirements of the market, in order to find the motivation to overcome the middle-income trap, Binh Duong has been reshaping the development model with major orientations such as transforming the industrial development model, from Industry - Urban - Service to Smart Industry - Urban - Service.

In particular, Binh Duong needs to upgrade existing industrial parks as well as build new green, smart industrial parks with the ability to provide 4.0 technology platforms.

At the event, Becamex IDC Corporation signed a strategic cooperation agreement with Deo Ca Group on developing transport infrastructure in the coming time.
